Stephen Nkrumah

ANALYST

Stephen Nkrumah is an Africa Analyst at BISI specialising in political economy, trade, and energy transitions. His research focuses on how global investment, critical minerals, and renewable energy shape Africa’s development and regional integration under the AfCFTA.


Based in Accra, Ghana, he has been a consultant since 2019, delivering trade and market analysis, policy advice, and data-driven strategies for private clients and programs. His projects range from mapping tariff and non-tariff barriers to forecasting sector trends and turning complex datasets into clear insights for decision-makers.


Stephen holds a Master's degree in Economic Policy Management and a bachelor's degree in Economics and Information Studies, both from the University of Ghana. Alongside his work at BISI, he is particularly interested in the intersection of business policy and geopolitics, with a focus on renewable energy and Africa’s role in the global clean energy transition.
