Mason is an interdisciplinary researcher and project manager, with expertise spanning democracy, emerging technology, and geopolitics. In his current role, he works on a range of client-facing cybersecurity engagements at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). He holds an MSc in Security Studies from University College London (UCL), and has a decade of prior experience at international organisations, think tanks, and as a high school teacher.
