Hossamaldeen Ibrahim is a political economy researcher specializing in peace, governance, and security in Africa and the Middle East. He holds an Honours degree in International Relations and Political Science and has over eight years of experience collaborating with international and local organizations.

His work focuses on conflict analysis, mediation, and the political economy of peacebuilding, with a strong interest in security studies and conflict dynamics. He has previously worked with the European Union, the University of Khartoum’s Political Parties Laboratory, International Council on Human Rights, Peace and Politics. and the Sudan Development Institute.

His research covers themes of conflict resolution, regional security dynamics, and sustainable development, with a strong interest in Africa, the Middle East, and Europe within the evolving global order. Fluent in Arabic and English, Hossamaldeen brings an interdisciplinary perspective and a commitment to advancing inclusive dialogue, accountable governance, and resilient societies
