BISI co-hosted a panel at the 4th Sarajevo Security Conference with the Euro-Gulf Information Center. Our panel focused on energy security, AI, and decarbonisation, featuring:

• Elisabetta Trenta, former Minister of Defence of the Republic of Italy

• Mitchell Belfer, President of the Euro-Gulf Information Centre

• Carlo de Micheli, CTO and Co-Founder of Tropico Security

• Mirza Ustamujic, CEO of Energoinvest

• Dr Wesam Basindowah

We are pleased to contribute to this premier forum, organised by the NewLines Institute for Strategy and Policy under the patronage of the Ministry of Defence of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and to join elite think tank researchers, business leaders, defence officials, and intelligence experts in addressing the complex security challenges facing Central, Eastern, and South Eastern Europe.

The conference provided an important platform for high-level dialogue on the future of European security, the integration of Artificial Intelligence in modern defence, and the growing importance of resilience across the region, while fostering valuable opportunities for learning, networking, and collaboration.
