Based in the UK, Eloise is an Anglo-French analyst focusing on Africa. Her research interests revolve around conflict, security, and human rights abuses, with a particular focus on the extractive industries and Islamic armed groups. These interests have been shaped by her experience as a Junior Associate at a peace and conflict consultancy specialising in business and human rights, as well as her time working with NGOs in Armenia on issues surrounding the Artsakh conflict, and a recently completed internship with a private sector intelligence company.

Eloise holds a BA in International Relations from Durham University and will begin an MA in Intelligence and International Security at King’s College London in September 2026.
