Chongtham Sen Chanu

Sen is currently pursuing an MSc in Security Studies at UCL. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Mount Carmel College, Bengaluru, with a triple major in Political Science, Economics, and Sociology.
She has written on regional security and foreign policy of South Asia during her internship at the Observer Research Foundation, particularly on the strategic issues concerning Sri Lanka and the Maldives. She also has multiple volunteering experiences with NGOs that specialise in children’s education from diverse backgrounds. Her research area of interest is South Asia with a broader interest in Asia-Pacific. She specialises in the power dynamics between China and India in South Asia, with a focus on their impact on regional security and cooperation.
