Belen is a researcher with a focus on AI governance, international security, and global policy. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Malmö University, Sweden, and has gained valuable experience with the Swedish Red Cross, Uppsala University, and the Center for AI and Digital Policy.

Her work includes policy research, communications, and fundraising, with an emphasis on AI regulation, peace and security, and democratic governance. Belen has contributed to publications such as EPIS Think Tank and The Review of European and Transatlantic Affairs.

Originally from Peru, Belen has worked and studied in Sweden and Taiwan, bringing a global perspective to issues in international relations. She is committed to advancing policy in AI and security to drive meaningful change.
